It's my birthday tmrw (8/17)
We're homeless disabled unemployed post op trans women. We've been trying to get housing and jobs but the process is so exhausting, especially dealing w the stress of running around dealing w bodily needs immediately every day, needing to drive everywhere... we had a place from July to March excepting two weeks right after new years, but we've been homeless since.
We bought a truck in June, because the van's driveline/driveshaft is broken (we've honestly been looking for some sort of replacement for it for like 2 or 3 years now :--/ ), which is probably really dangerous, but we can't afford to fix it at all, afaict. But the dealer lied to us about the status of the title, which we struggled to even get advice about from anybody.
Wonder why the Oregon State Bar Lawyer Referral Line doesn't have any consumer law attorneys to recommend. And I found one myself and they told me to go back to the DMV. Idk. We want the DMV to investigate the guy, I guess is the next step in that process, but we sold it to someone who just needed anything at all that even runs to bop around for a month or so in the city as an out-of-stater. So it's basically out of our hands on that level, but we should probably eventually make sure the guy can't fuck over or lie to anyone else.
So now we have to find another working daily driver again, smth with an actually provably clean title. Uh. We should have sold this van by now. Kinda impossible if we can't seem to find housing or jobs. There's a few trucks around 2000 that seem useful. 1000 would help us get a better car that may not have the problems the last shitty truck had at 1500.
